About Narcolepsy & Sleep Advocacy #usingiziinitiative

I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy type when I was 18years old however, I had been living with the symptoms from when I was 14 years old. I went through a series of misdiagnoses and wrong treatments. Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological condition that impairs the brain’s ability to regulate the sleep-wake cycle. It affects about 1 in 2,000 people — 3 million people worldwide. The reason I started raising awareness on Narcolepsy in Kenya to educate Kenyans about it and address all the misconceptions and myths surrounds Narcolepsy and other sleep conditions.
